Wellbeing Hub

At St Giles, we have discovered that Jesus offers His peace to everyone. He said…

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14 verse 27

On this page, you will find a range of resources to help you to find more of that peace in your own life.

Something for everyone

St Giles seeks to be a Wellbeing hub here in the middle of Northampton. We offer a range of activities, courses and opportunities for everyone. We want you to feel part of our church community and to connect with others here at St Giles. For full details of time, venue etc. for these and all other events and activities.

Pastoral Care at St Giles

While many pastoral needs can be covered through small groups, situations may arise which need a more rapid response. Our Pastoral teams are trained and equipped to offer pastoral support and prayer. Members of the Pastoral Prayer team are available at church services to pray for physical, spiritual and other needs.
More in- depth pastoral care and prayer can be offered during the week, by arrangement. Please contact Serena in the church office or email: pastoral care email
You can find out more about how pastoral care is offered at St Giles by downloading the leaflet below.

Ten Keys to enhance emotional resilience and lead to happier living

These Ten Keys are underpinned by research drawn particularly from psychology but also from medicine, neuroscience and sociology. They are not a prescription or a formula, but they do provide some help and direction to develop and enhance our emotional resilience.

The first five keys (Giving, Relating, Exercising, Awareness and Trying Out are all action based and incorporate the Five Ways to Well-being.

The second set of keys (Direction, Resilience, Emotions, Acceptance and Meaning) relate to our internal processes, our attitudes, values and drive.
