Services
Sunday mornings:
Morning services start at 10.00am, all meeting together in the church for the first half hour.
Adults then have a choice – to remain in the church for a sermon, or to go to the church centre, across the road, for input and discussion groups. The children also go to the centre for age-specific circle groups at that point.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we all remain together in the church.
Communion takes place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
Please note Sundays during the school summer holidays are usually different.
Sunday evenings:
- 7.00pm – a service of Celebration, with a Communion service on the 1st Sunday of each month.
(We start with coffee/tea, which is served from 6.45pm.)
Sunday afternoons: (on the 4th Sunday of each month)
- 3.00pm – Hymns of Praise service, followed by tea and cakes.
Thursday morning:
- Thursday at 11.00am – Holy Communion or traditional morning prayer. This service is followed by coffee and lunch in the church centre.
CoT?:
- Thursday at 7.30pm – ‘Church on Thursday?’ A weekly evening congregation aimed mainly at those who are interested in a different style of meeting including a variety of multimedia input, small groups and times for response. We also have a social action project which we get involved in together from time to time. We start with coffee and cake or with a meal at 7.30pm followed by gathering and input.
